Citizens of Stomaria may sponsor one or more plots of land within Stomarian provinces in order to help fund our work.

By sponsoring one or more designated plots, each of which measures 1m² and typically takes the form of a raised bed for growing produce, a citizen of Stomaria will be appointed as a Knight or Dame of Stomaria and will be sent a digital certificate to verify this.

Larger plots may be sponsored for purposes other than growing produce under certain circumstances.

A citizen that wishes to have their plot managed by the governor of the province in which the plot is located will have no access to the plot nor will benefit from any produce grown (due to the restrictions on transporting fresh produce), though they may choose what is grown subject to approval.

This is best suited for those citizens that are interested in supporting Stomaria through direct financial contributions and subsequently being appointed as a Knight or Dame of Stomaria for as long as the sponsorship lasts.

A citizen that wishes to manage the plot themselves in order to benefit from the produce grown should consider the following:

• Access to the plot will require permission from the governor of the province on which the plot is located.
• A 1m² raised bed will be provided on a fixed location but any additional soil, compost, seeds, plants, tools or anything else associated with the management of the plot will be provided by the citizen.
• No tools or equipment may be left at the province on which the plot is located.
• Planting any kind of flower, herb, fruit, vegetable or otherwise will require approval from the governor of the province on which the plot is located.

Sponsorship may be cancelled at any time either by the citizen who sponsored the plot or by the Emperor of Stomaria.

In the event that a sponsorship is cancelled, the citizen will no longer be recognised as a Knight or Dame of Stomaria with the management of the plot immediately reverting back to the governor of the province on which the plot is located who may opt to harvest or remove anything within the plot at their discretion.
