Agriculture

Stomaria stands for sustainable agricultural practices.

Sustainable agricultural practices refers to, among other things, the promotion of soil health, minimising water usage and lowering pollution levels in order to ensure food safety and food security for future generations. As well as ensuring that there’s a sustainable and increasingly organic food supply, such practices are of immense benefit to the environment.

We believe that agriculture is one of the most important but nevertheless overlooked industries in the modern world. With regards to soil health, for instance, studies show that the long-term viability of farmland is now at risk with a third of Earth’s soil having already been severely degraded as a result of intensive farming. This, in turn, is likely to threaten global food supplies within this century.

We're promoting sustainable agriculture through composting and mulching, collecting and utilising rainwater and avoiding the use of pesticides across all Stomarian provinces.
